Visby lamellar Teu10

Description of the product

The Visby lamellar is a version of the armor whose remains were found in a burial near Visby Castle (Sweden). Despite the fact that the Battle of Visby took place in 1361, it is believed that this type of armor is characteristic of the Viking Age. The Visby lamellar consists of more than 1000 plates and is very complex to manufacture, but it provides reliable protection and is very convenient. This number of records is explained by the fact that in the Viking Age people in Europe did not yet know how to make large sheets of iron.
