ROA helmet is a version of a helmet based on images in the medieval book "Roman d'Alexandre". This novel was rewritten several times by different authors at different times, but the basis for the helmet was taken from the book of 1420, therefore the dating of the helmet can be considered the end of the 14th and beginning of the 15th century.
