Wolf ribs is one of the most popular helmets in modern medieval combat. The helmet got its name thanks to the visor in the form of a lattice, which resembles the bones of the chest. Despite the fact that no examples of this type of helmet have survived, there are several images on which the craftsmen base their manufacture of this helmet. Like most bascinets, this helmet is suitable for European armor sets of the 14th century. The helmet gained its popularity due to its excellent visibility and free breathing, which is important in battle. The visor can be stationary or tilt up at your request; it is also possible to install additional vertical rods.
